Operating outside the basic principles of freedom and democracy, the Brussels EU - by definition - is a dictatorship. A recent European Commission working document on health claims for foods and food supplements provides definitive proof that one of the key goals of the Pharma Cartel and its political stakeholders in Brussels is to severely curtail the spread of lifesaving information on natural health throughout the whole of Europe. For example, whilst the document suggests that some health claims for vitamin C may be permitted in relation to the important contribution it makes to normal collagen production, the Commission seems ruthlessly intent on banning the majority of claims that make mention of this micronutrient's numerous other health benefits. As such, by trying to limit the spread of natural health information in this way, the "Brussels EU" is attempting to eliminate a key threat to the financial interests of the multi-trillion dollar "pharmaceutical business with disease."

The early detection of health problems is very important in curtailing the progress of, or eliminating, disease at its onset. On October 2, the people of Ireland will vote on the so-called Treaty of Lisbon, the proposed constitution-like platform for the future of Europe. This unique opportunity for the people of Ireland to exert their democratic right is the result of a century-long battle of the Irish people for freedom and independence. Amazingly, however, the people of the other 26 nations of Europe were denied the basic democratic right to vote on the future of their continent. Apparently, the architects of the Brussels EU were afraid that during any European-wide vote, the fundamentally undemocratic nature of the Lisbon Treaty, as the legal platform to cement corporate control over Europe, would be unmasked. What is at stake is the takeover of the economic, social and even private lives of the European people by corporate interests namely, those of the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industry or, the preservation of democracy, liberty and freedom. What is at stake on October 2 is not just the future of the people of Ireland but the future of 500 million people living in Europe today and many millions more as yet unborn. In this historic situation, the disenfranchised people of Europe turn to the people of Ireland and call upon them to vote on their behalf.

A few months ago I shared with you my analysis about the present political situation in an article headlined "The Icarus Sect". We are at a turning point in the history of medicine, moving from a medicine that serves the interests of the pharmaceutical investment industry, to a medicine serving the people. Why Nutrient Supplementation Is Important in Heart Failure and Arrhythmia
|
Heart failure is a deteriorating condition accompanied by edema, fatigue and difficulty conducting even simple activities. It affects people at any age and it often develops as a result of heart disease. Heart failure patients often suffer from irregular heart beat, a frightening condition that carries a risk of a sudden death. About five million people in the US are affected by heart failure and arrhythmia and about 30-40% of them die within one year of diagnosis. Heart failure together with malignant cancers is responsible for more than half of the deaths in people 45 years old and older. Unfortunately, heart failure and arrhythmia are increasing. Although many new pharmaceutical drugs have become available they focus not on the root cause of these problems but on the symptoms, and are associated with a very high risk of side effects. This article indicates that it is time for major revision of current health approaches and presents new cellular medicine-based therapeutic directions in these diseases.

Healing the wounds or having surgery? Don't forget the Vitamin C!
|
Many ugly malformations of scar tissues or prolonged and complicated recoveries from surgical procedures can be avoided by the simple measure of taking the right vitamins. This is not new knowledge however. As long ago as 1937, Harvard Medical School surgeons observed the importance of vitamin C for wound healing in patients recovering from surgeries [1]. These physicians noted that "spontaneous breakdown of a surgical wound in the absence of infection occurs with relative frequency in patients with the cachexia of cancer, in debilitated individuals, and in young patients; notably those who have some congenital anomaly of the gastro-intestinal tract." Therefore, their recommendation for the administration of vitamin C was based on their subsequent observations that wound healing becomes faulty with low vitamin C, and that vitamin C levels were low in their patients. While such information remains pertinent today, it may be omitted in medical practice as routine protocols take precedent in the clinic. Recently we have received reports from nurses and practitioners whose patients' wounds will not heal despite the lack of complications. These practitioners even speculated that it may be a vitamin C deficiency or other malnutrition that is responsible for the slow wound healing. However, they admitted that some of their patients, frightened by the media vitamin scares, were hesitant to take supplements without scientific evidence of their beneficial effects.

A multilingual, Web-based, free content encyclopaedia project, created in 2001 and written collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world, it has rapidly grown to become one of the world's top ten most popular web sites. These days, when conducting a Google search on almost any subject, in the majority of cases a Wikipedia article will come up either top of the rankings or, at the very least, amongst the top ten results. Increasingly however, serious questions are being asked regarding the reliability of its content.

On June 13, 2008, the court in Cape Town cast a verdict in a case brought by two organizations that promote toxic ARV drugs as the solution to the AIDS crisis: the "South African Medical Association" (SAMA) and the so-called "Treatment Action Campaign" (TAC). While SAMA is a well known organisation with its leadership closely linked to the drug industry, the TAC may not be known beyond the borders of South Africa. Its activities can best be described with two statements which the same Cape Town court - in a previous case - did not find objectionable: "they organize rented crowds for the drug industry" in order to "force the government [of South Africa] to spend millions of Rand on toxic drugs."

Following the storm of protest that erupted after the recent Cochrane review's publication, it didn't take long for evidence to emerge that certain newspaper editors had put their journalists under pressure to back it. The British journalist and writer Rachel Johnson, for example, had written an article entitled 'Not so vital vitamins' for the Sunday Times in which she cited the review, stated that vitamins are a waste of money and claimed that taking them may shorten life expectancy.
